8th Grade Graduation Dues and Celebration

    

Thanks to fantastic fundraising efforts, including the hotel raffle, the fees for both graduation and the cruise have been lowered to help all families!

Below is the information for 2024 GRADUATION!

Graduation Ceremony

Tuesday, June 18
9:00am-noon
92nd St Y 
1395 Lexington Avenue (91/92 St) 

Graduation dues: $155
Dues pay for a yearbook and the ceremony: cap & gown, auditorium rental, reception, diploma & program.

Graduation Dinner Cruise

Tuesday, June 18
6-9:00pm - Cornucopia Destiny will leave from a West Side Pier. More info to come!

Dinner cruise dues: $130

Important 8th Grade Graduation Information

Important 8th Grade Dates

April 11-12, 2024 - NYS ELA Exam
May 7-8, 2024 - Practice Algebra and Science tests
May 15-17, 2024 - 8th Gr Science Testing
June 4, 2024 - Algebra I Regents Exam
June 5, 2024 - Graduation Practice (Tickets and caps/gowns will be distributed)
June 18, 2024 - 9am Graduation Ceremony
June 18, 2024 - 6pm Dinner Cruise
June 20, 2024 - 8th Grade Color Wars
June 24, 2024 - NYS Spanish Proficiency Exam
June 26, 2024 - Last day of school. Diplomas distributed.

All post-graduation days continue to count toward attendance.

If a student will not be in school on June 26, they may either pick up their diploma over the summer or submit a self-addressed 9x12" envelope with 2 stamps.

Yearbook

Photo uploads here

Do not buy a yearbook unless you need multiple copies - one is included with your graduation dues.

On the yearbook site, you may also buy and design a quarter, half or full page ad to celebrate your graduate! In the past, these ads have included things like family & pet photos, friend group pictures, student artwork etc. in addition to a message from you. Ads print in all students' books. More instructions on this can be found at this link.
